Organizations of all sizes will appreciate MasterPlan's flexibility in
configuration. The program can be configured to run from as few as one
computer to as many computers as a server can handle. Below are some examples
representing possible configurations, but please be aware that MasterPlan
can be used on any number of computers and in any working environment
imaginable. For your convenience, we have included a Price

In this example, there is only one site with one financial planner. For
purposes of calculation, this corresponds to one "Professional User."
Note that this user can have MasterPlan installed on as many individual
computers as he or she likes (i.e. on his or her main computer, a computer
in the conference room for showing clients, and an installation on a laptop).
Also note that the Maintenance Fee unit prices have been adjusted for
the six month term of contract. After the six months
of included support, the Maintenance Fee for this configuration would
be $500 per year. Remember that tax law changes every year, and an annual
upgrade is therefore required to plan for that tax year.

MasterPlan excels in a networking environment. When more than one financial
planner is working from the same office site, it is often convenient to
set up a network of computers so data can be shared more easily. In this
example, there are three financial planners working from the same location.
Because these three are such busy people, they also employ someone that
accomplishes various tasks for them, including entering data into MasterPlan
or running reports. This is called an "Assistant User." The
most important qualification for an assistant is that he or she does not
have a financial planning degree and uses MasterPlan only as an aid to
the Professional Users. To simplify accounting, this organization opts
to pay for an entire year of support up front.
